Quality & Standards

Certifications & Approvals

Our flow meters are designed, manufactured, and calibrated to meet rigorous international standards. Every instrument leaving our factory is backed by a works calibration certificate and our commitment to measurement accuracy.

Why Certifications Matter

In industrial flow measurement, certifications are more than paperwork — they are proof that our instruments meet globally recognized standards for quality, safety, and performance.

Quality Assurance

Certifications validate that our manufacturing processes meet international quality standards, giving you confidence in every instrument you purchase.

Regulatory Compliance

For regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, food, and water treatment, certified instruments simplify your audit and compliance obligations.

Performance Trust

Certified calibration means every flow meter meets its stated accuracy specifications, backed by documented test results.

Quality

ISO 9001:2015

R&B Instruments maintains ISO 9001:2015 certification for our quality management system, covering design, manufacturing, calibration, and after-sales service of flow measurement instruments. This ensures consistent product quality and continuous improvement across all operations.

Safety

CE Marking

Our flow meters carry CE marking in compliance with EU directives including EMC (2014/30/EU), Low Voltage (2014/35/EU), and Pressure Equipment (2014/68/EU). This confirms conformity with European health, safety, and environmental protection standards.

ATEX / IECEx

Selected R&B flow meter models are certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres under ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and IECEx Scheme. Intrinsically safe and flameproof designs available for Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21, and Zone 22 hazardous areas.

Environmental

RoHS

All R&B flow meters comply with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU restricting the use of hazardous substances including lead, mercury, cadmium, and other restricted materials in electrical and electronic equipment.
